The first Apple is planted

Well…not an apple tree, which could be nice.
Anyway, last week our computer was really acting up, and starting to error on lots of things. I figured it was a 18 month old Windows install that had seen lots of abuse, and it was time. Time, as in most Windows machines could be rebuild every year or so. Well, then it rebelled and errorred more than ever, and started dished out a few blue screens of death. I managed to backup everything. It seemed to be some bad hardware, but hadn’t pinpointed it. Being older, and the last 32-bit AMD chip, it was time for something better. Rather buy new, then start popping money into an older one. Besides, new means warrenty.
So, we went to the Apple store and got a new iMac. Reagan’s happy as it has a 17″ screen built in, and it connects to our 19″ LCD screen. The overall size is about exact, but the 2nd screen looks much bigger. It does give lots of desktop real estate. It is a rather fly operating system compared to Windows and it seems to do much more.
So, www.twobarn.farm, www.reaganosborne.com, and whatever else Reagan works on is now Apple powered.
