. . .by their hospital. I have recently “enjoyed” 2 visits to the emergency room in Jefferson for kidney stones and it was the BEST experience I have ever had in a hospital!! It really put me at ease that medical staff could be fun, professional, caring and still get the job done. I am still getting used to the idea that someone a know may be drawing my blood.
Thank you so much!
Say “Hello” to another person who has experienced the “joys” of kidney stones. (Or should I say kidney rocks.) I have never been in so much pain as I was with that darn kidney stone that was about the size of a grain of white rice. Yes it eventually found its way out and I captured it and I gave it a stern talking to. (Along with some words that would offend a sailor.) When I went to the ER my female doctor told me the pain I was experiencing was similar to what a woman feels during childbirth. Gee! Thanks Alot Doc. She gave me a script for Tylenol 3 plus codeine in case I had another attack, but added it would not stop the pain but make bearable enough to make it back to the ER. Good luck Reagan. I feel your pain.
